Baotian BT50 QT-9 50cc 4 stroke moped for sale. 2007, Only 1957 miles from new.
This can be ridden by a 16 year old after taking a compulsory basic training (about £70) or without learner plates on a full car license if full car license was obtained prior to February 1st 2001.
Insurance for my 16 year old daughter was £110 and road tax is only £15 a year. Economy is apparently close to 100mpg although I've not confirmed this personally.
This was used by my daughter briefly before she passed her car test and served her well with no mishaps or breakdowns. I've just taken it for a spin to take the photo's and everything works as it should. (unlike most mopeds that have been completely abused by 16 year old tearaways

It starts on the button, the headlights, indicators, brake lights, horn, all work. The engine pulls cleanly and smoothly with no smoke from the exhaust. (4 stroke engine) The brakes work well, and there is no play in either wheel bearings or headstock. I'll be giving it an oil change and a proper once over before the sale but I suspect that everything will be well within service limits.
Asking £400 ovno, I'll be shoving it on ebay next week if no one grabs it here first.
The bike comes complete with two keys and has 1 previous owner. The MOT isn't required until February 2010.
