My nephew is keen to join the world of MB driving with a V8 SL. He's had diesel company cars all his life and wants to drive something a bit more exciting at the weekends.

He's spotted this and it looks to be a nice car

The MOT history supports the mileage, so what does the panel think?

Is a few thousand miles a year just too low? Anything particular to check out apart from water in the the boot and the usual suspects?

Thanks

Looks like a fair price for as low miles as the advert suggests.
When i bought mine i was after a real low mileage SL car but the owner wanted such a privileged price for his car and i could not justice the difference.

Remind your nephew that these cars are great but can be pricey if things go wrong with the abc suspension or the rubbers seals or the fuel tank and the braking unit.

I know this sounds a lot and it is but they are a great car if you can afford to stay on top of these issues.

Looks like a great motor
