55K S/C Pulley Bearing

Chaps does anyone know what the generic bearing size code is for the standard size supercharger pulley.

I know the OEM one is made by Nachi under code 45BG07S5AIG-2DL. However as bearings are standard sizes I wanted the code to purchase one locally.

Ah just when you think your forgotten good old Alps comes and joins the party.

That would be a shame as I was thinking getting a double metal shielded one might make them last longer. However if thats the best I dont wish to take any chances as in the great scheme the part is cheap as chips.

Local bearing shop came up trumps in the end, its a standard size bearing used primarily in air compressors so I have been told.

Picked one up and will change it over at the weekend if I can locate my circlip pliers.

Well decided to get up and do the bearing this morning. Checked the dimensions and the new bearing was a perfect match.
The bearing I got is from Perfect Fit Industries and was made in Florida. Im sure copies vary in size and quality. But this bearing was spot on.

Fitting was nice and easy thanks to my small 6 ton press.

The PFI bearing code is PC45750032CS and is a direct interchange with the Nachi 45BG07S5G-2DST2F.
