My 560 SEC is experiencing cold start issues. When cold its starts, revs to approx. 1000/1500 revs and then dies. When eventually warm runs fine.
After trial and error and reading the forums I thought the problem was the OVP relay. The reason I thought it was this was when I remove the OVP relay the car starts fine and straight away idles at 1500 rpm. When I put the OVP relay back in it resorts to cold start problems and runs lumpy.
So today I received a new MEYLE OVP relay from KMS in Birmingham (UK) but no change in the above.
Any ideas?
PS: I tested the cold start valve by detaching one end and seeing if petrol comes out - it does.
