Rear drivers side sitting a bit low, could it be accumalator or hose from accumalator to hydraulic ram. question is if it is the ram can you replace these individually or in pairs, I heard they don't provide any dampening. Have noticed a very slight bounce just after coming to a stop.

Sitting a bit low is nothing to do with the SLS side, ride hight is controlled by the springs only.

If you are getting bounce then the first thing to swap are the suspension spheres.

Thanks for the reply.

So a ruptured bladder on one of the accumalators wouldn't cause that side to sit lower, surely the hose leading from the accumalator to the top of the hydraulic ram aids in pressurization?

With the car off it is only sitting on the springs, not the sls. With the engine running, the sls can assist by lifting some weight.
Bounciness is definitely spheres as said. Change your springs, they are cheap easy.

Ok thanks a lot, What do you think the labour time is to replace both rear springs on these w126's?

Not a massive job on these if you have the right spring compressors.
Listed as 3 hours but id say up to 4 hours labour as things are going to be seized and rusty.

Does anyone know what the MB part#'S for new springs are on this model with sls, I think they differ from the non sls models?

Cheers

best to ring mercedes as they have to work out the correct ones based upon the options your car has.

Hi, Im wondering if any one can tell me more about these, they're front suspension taken off a 560 sec AMG.

Thanks

From the mounts they look very like rear suspension units to me sorry although I do not recognise the number

Agreed. Look completely like rear to me.
