560 SEL AMG video detail

Absolutely stunning car....

But the front andrear 'square' numberplates surely have got to go in favour of a regular style numberplates, i would have thought....

car has cool options.
did you import it yourself from japan?

is it genuine low mileage on this car?

Yanase & co was a distributer, importer and dealer of luxury cars in Japan back in the 60's onwards. Buying pre-merger AMG body kits is difficult especially from MB dealers! The only place is online from those who are selling parts from cars that no longer road worthy, beyond repair or replicas so if you are looking it means a lot of late nights searching and it will either be the odd bits or a hefty premium for AMG full kit and they're usually abroad p&p might cost you as much as the parts. Pre-merger AMG Items are getting rarer and rarer to find unless you got the right contacts & willing to pay. Hood star is the only chrome on the car so will leave it as is, did think about it. Thought about the metal german emboss style plates but the rectangular plate is keeping with the period look in japan just a UK version.

The beast is only driven in the dry, going to get the underside of the car steam cleaned & wax sprayed next weekend. Instrument cluster is in Kilometres showing 84 so roughly 54,000 genuine miles. The immaculate condition of the car inside & out reflects the low mileage.

The rear aerials can be tucked away discreetly, but I just like to drive with them out.

As a lover of old school cars I couldn't resist to say very nice bit of kit you got there!!!:)
