This one could be something of interest for someone who's after a project to sink their teeth into....

Nice colour and the black leather makes a change from the usual mushroom leather. Nice steering wheel. Dechromed all over, which seems to be holding up well, which could be sign that it was done properly back in the day.

Nice period alloys too... But the bodykit seems a mystery to me, I cant quite work it out from the pics.... Any ideas??

The kit looks AMG to me

That's Lorinser bodykit in full and steering wheel to match.

How did an 89 car get that bad ? !

Nice kit but needs serious work.

cheers

I stand to be corrected, but isn't that a Charles Ironside supplied car which was featured in an early Merc Enthusiast magazine many years ago.

If so, it's fallen on hard times as when featured it was immaculate.

Alloy doesn't rust?

Wasn't someone on here after a Lorinser front bumper?

Are those wheels correct Lorinser aswell?..... They seem more like something that Brabus would have offered.....

Nice car, needs saving for sure, provided weak areas such as under the rear screen are somehow intact....

Does look like it's worth saving :)

Surprising how quick cars can go downhill in the wrong hands :(

Jay, i see that there's no Lorinser in your stable yet...

This could be just the ticket, even if that leaves your collection abit SEC heavy...!

I wouldnt mind this one myself, as i could do with a W126 SEC/SEL in my life.... that would leave me quietly chuffed with my collection as id have the three of the best models from my favourite MB era... W201, W124,W126.... They would also be a mixed bunch being a Cossie, AMG kitted, and Lorinser kitted.....

If you want it, go for it mate, I really dont have the space, I would have just removed the kit and scrapped the rest of it, looks well past it.

Does it really look that bad:(, I wouldnt buy it just to break it though....

Ill then need another car to put the kit onto.... If it was just a blow over and a couple of wings, that would be my kind of project....

In my experience, if the wings have gone, there will be other areas that need attention too... and the problem with blowing over the wings is that the rust will come back immediately. You need 2 new wings...

It looks like it went for the ME feature after which its been sat in a field for 6 years!

Although it could be a gem..

And it's gone.
Who's the culprit then?
