Nicely done [emoji106] Seeing elegant oneliners is heartwarming
I'm getting a new car in March and the dealer will be offering me to pick from a range of numbers (how many is usual?). Might be amusing to see what the 17 variants of this are...I guess closest letter to a 7 is T? Saw my first name as plate (KIA7) once on a seller advert, but couldn't afford it then. There was L1NUX available once, but missed that too !

Nissan told us back in 2012 that dealers only got sent one plate per car now so we couldn't choose like we did with our previous new car in 2004. Sounds like it may have been bs - not that the difference between a few sets of meaningless (in our case) letters really matters. Just meant I didn't have to pick DYX which made me think of DICKS!

I think 7 is traditionally a T but it can also pass for other letters - like J (e.g. 7OHN).

Tenuous but depends how easy you can spot letters in numbers I guess...

GL17TER probably worth less than it would have been a few years ago…

I'd be very surprised if the DVLA released any SH17 plates (although that doesn't stop them normally :D).

Only DOGTROT and RAGTAGS for 67 = GT. Few more for 18 = IB, and a trio for each of 18 = LB and 68 = GB:

Sigh. I feel the need to keep this going. There's nothing for 69=BG, although the sort of people that like this game will probably find enough titillation from the number itself.
