Does anyone know anything about these?

I dropped mine yesterday (18 inches onto an airbook!). When I tried to play it it did everything but had no sound.

Hooked it up to my Mac and reset it, still didn't work. Played about with the settings without success then it hung.

Now it's hung and is no longer recognised when I hook it it up to the Mac.

Anybody got any ideas before I throw it out the window?

It was one of these hold both buttons for x second jobs. Can't remember the exact details, but it worked !

Press together the on/off and home buttons and keep pressed until the apple logo appears, does a hard reset.
