7 seat ML question

Hi - I'm on the look out for a cheap 7 seater people carrier/4x4 - around a 2000-2003 reg. The wife suggested a 7 seat ML as we only need the boot seats occasionally. I've been looking at the pictures and have just one question:

The seats appear to fold up to the sides in the boot, can you actually take out the two seats if you need the loading space or do they have to always be kept in?

Hello

Yes you can take one or both out, they are heavy though. I kept mine in the loft although very handy when we needed the extra seats.

Fitted (fix up against the sides)

Removed leaving a fair sized boot...
