hi guys 2006 c200 evo coupe came to nz in 02/16 from japan with 40kkms so probably dodling around town most of its life the new owner did 44kkms in under 4 years and i bought it at 85kkms and on finding original oil in trans did partial 3.5 ltr change with valvoline maxlife synthetic as i did with my previous c180 with no problems however now im getting shudder when shifting from n-d for a moment and then slight vibration thereafter untill moving no vibes when changing gears or engine revs fluctuating on steady throttle and no vibes when starting from cold and shifting from P to R i believe engine mounts or driveline bolts can be a problem in this regard have not yet spoken with my local merc indie specalist any suggestions would be welcome cheers gary

Is the atf level correct at 80 degrees , engine running , gearbox in park ?

yes oil level correct fully warm i have dipstick

W1ghty was asking about ATF level as measured when STAR shows transmission temperature at 80 degrees... not about the engibe oil.

after reading much feedback and ignoring my regular garage i added tube of Dr tranny instant shudder fix to g/box and after 60km the shudder has GONE and vibration through brake pedal ALMOST gone i realise a more expensive permanent fix is needed sometime but for the sake of$30 im a very happy camper at present
