Hi, this is my first post on here and hopefully its not going to be one that ends up with me being told the gearbox in my new car is nackered
Anyway, the car I have just bought (09 C320 CDI) seems to not change gear as smoothy when stone cold as it does once has done a couple of miles. By not smoothly the car isnt jerky on changes but feels like it doesnt blend the gears as it does once warm and only in the lower gears, also when pulling up to a stop I can feel a slight engine braking sensation going down the lower gears, Once warm i.e a couple of miles the box is seamless.
My dad has a E350 with the same box and he says his does the same thing and always has, but, I googled cold shifting 7G Tronic and got pages of expensive valve body faults and am now slighty ******* myself.
Is this fairly normal or should I be preparing my wallet, hopefully the former.
