80 in to 80 tank

What rubbish? These aren't unprotected steel tanks and all pumps have filters on.
I took my tank out and it didn't have any rubbish in it, but it did have the fuel coating stripped off due to trying vegetable oil and Bio-diesel.

The most I have put into my 80 litre tank is 84 litres.

ive had fuel pumps out in mine and there was some rubbish at the bottom of the tank, the integral filters in the pumps were also clogged up which led to the failure of the pumps.

There are also many cases in the states and a few in the uk of E55`s with pump failures which also have similar clogged pumps

The tanks may well be sealed, but the fuel is not always as clean as it should be!

I think you will find you are the one talking rubbish!

I drove for about 8 miles (very slowly) with 0 miles left on the display, while trying to figure out where the best open petrol station was.
Dropped off the M-way and reckoned I could park the car and get a Taxi home if necessary. It was about 0400.

I pulled into an open station and put just over 68L into my 68L tank, which was brimmed to the neck. When I went to start the car it took 3 cranks. It always goes 1st time.

It must have been so empty that when I stopped the engine, all the pressure in the system released so it took the cranking to repressurise it.

Now I know 0 miles means exactly that
