840 tinted glass

Hey folks

I have code 840 privacy glass during the day looking out through the rear I can see perfectly

Come night time I cannot see a thing out of it

I take it this is due To the auto Dimming function

Does anyone else have this problem and is there anyway around it ?

I'm not sure the glass is auto dimming...that would be incredibly expensive.

Rear vision at night is pretty dire and reversing camera is crap to the point of embarrassing

Mine has privacy glass and I agree vision out the rear window via mirror is bad.
Was the privacy glass standard or an option?

Was an option I believe. I thought the rear window was tinted but double checked my vin decoder and it's definitely a standard item

Brake light is the only thing I can see at night

Think its standard on the plus side my fi exhaust outweighs all negatives burble low down. And hounds of hell when u accelerate I forgive the cars shortcomings just for this

Never had the privacy glass on my first 63? Been looking at the ipe and fi how much did you pay for the fi

Only looking for the resonator delete and back box
