God, was that really a year ago we went to that?

Did the guy with the black E55K ever turn up on here?

I'm sure I mentioned the forum to him but I can't remember his name.

Had a awesome day, Very hot 24 degrees car was pretty consistent though but the time was not as quick as last year despite the terminal being higher.

Best time of the day was a 15.41 @ 93mph

    Also saw 2x white c63's and w208 clk55 which was rapid and a cl500

Had a cracking day and the car didnt miss a beat even managed to drag a 30.1mpg Pmsl

I was one of the C63's there .

A white E55 running over 710 bhp achieved 13.4 best . I was very surprised at that and the owner was very disappointed too .

Fastest I run was 13.1 . Wasn't very pleased as I couldn't put the power down , couldn't get RS to work properly . Any tips for next time greatly appreciated !

Apart from our poor performances ,we had made some new friends ,weather was fantastic and overall had great fun .

Maybe we can organise a stand for the next one in June/July ?

I struggled with grip too, (que the derv jokes) lol reduced the tyre pressures down to 30 on the rear of my s211 helped go from 15.55 88mph to 15.4 at 93mph

It was perhaps July last year so not quite a year since the last one but similarly a hot day.

However, mine running at 600BHP - I could only manage 13.14 @ 116mph although I can't remember if that was my best time or not.

I can get the car moving off the line quite well but I really struggled - even in the heat last July. That surface is just too slippery. The video below, courtesy of merc85, is from last year against a white C63.

I tried a take off on regular tarmac later that day and it was far better.

As you can see in the video, no real nonsense off the line but still not getting the power down well enough to get a good speed / time.

If you feed in too quick - you slip, if you feed in too slow, you waste time:
