'93 190E 2.3 vibrating like crazy.Please Help

My 1993 190E 2.3 Auto is shaking like crazy when you start the car, when you first put it into drive and when you put it into reverse it shakes and vibrates even harder.......Whenever you change gears from Park to Drive or Reverse it bangs first .....Can someone let me know what this could be? Is it the transmition going?.......The engine does pick up good speed and the RPMs are not slipping....Thank you.

It sounds like it could be engine or gearbox mounts. More than one by the sounds of it. Has it always done it? Have you noticed it getting gradualy worse, or has it just all of a sudden started?

This has started all of the sudden but was not that bad, now it is just an extreme vibrating and even more when the car is in Reverse...otherwise the car drives fine.....

Id take a good look at the engine mounts if i were you mate

I am going to go to the service station today, Ill make sure they take a look at the engine mount(s)...I'll update you on the progress...Thanks.
