Can i use 95 octane in my c230K 1997?

Whats the difference if any from the use in terms of performance ?

Yes it was designed for 95 octane or there abouts. Won't benefit from any higher, will proabably run on lower.

Do search for "Optimax" if you want to read lots of threads about different octane fuel and the results.

95 is ok, 98 is better

Based on what?

As stated, this engine is designed to run on 95 Octane, any higher rating would give no benefit or are you just randomly posting to increase your overall count?

Ignore him. He has spammed his way up to 30 posts by pointlessly replying to 11 year old threads.

I tried on various cars and it appears to make little or no difference. I some times use optimax if going on long motorway run. I don't think the price difference is cost affective in slight impovement in fuel cosumption.
