Does anyone have a diagram or other of how to remove the centre console storage area from said car? I have some of the leather peeling off and want to remove just the storage area to have it re-covered.

Hopefully it just a couple of screws/bolts..... :)

do you mean the bit between the seats?

if so, open the 'door' and you will see 2 self tappers at the front of the inside. unscrew these and then the whole tray pulls back and comes off.

then there are several more screws that hold the tray itself together. i dismantled and renovated mine a few weeks ago.

i applied some clear alraldite to bits of the vynl where it needed it to prevent any damage and also gave everything a good clean. Much nicer now.

when you have this removed, take some time to remove the wood trim aroudn the gear lever (just lifts out when the tray is removed + 1 screw) and hoover and clean all the grit/dirt and fluff up. Its amazing how much mankeyness can be under it. you cant see it but its nice to know its nice under there........

cheers for that, will do. :)
