Hi All

Noob here.

I've just bought a 98 C240 Sport Auto. Everything works as it should except the steering adjustment lever/knob appears to be missing.

The slot is there beside the parking brake release but no lever.

The steering wheel is so low my thighs are getting squished.

Any quick solutions? Thank you.

Has the handle snapped off? I bought a C240 new in 98 and the steering adjustment was an optional extra not a standard fit so perhaps there wasn't one fitted originally

I haven't had a chance to investigate it yet and I'm not familiar with the car.

To the lower left of the parking brake release there is a shot in the trim and I don't yet know it there's a trim panel missing. The lot is exactly where the steering release is shown in the handbook.

If you have the adjuster, it will be on the steering column.
