Various.
Just bought this car. It has hardly been used since July.

Using the switches in the front centre console all the windows go down as they should but none will go back up properly. Nothing happens when the 'up' switch is used & only by many, many repeated tries on the 'up' button do they go up at all & then in tiny (¼ inch at a time) movements. They only do the tiny movements some of the time in response to the switch being engaged.

It's equipped with push button digital display climate control. Is this unit meant to be illuminated when the lights are on? Mine isn't lighting up.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Press the window switches very very very very very very gently to familiarise yourself with their first position (manual) - you will find the windows go up fine.
Now, with the windows up, press all the switches in this first manual position one at a time for 3x seconds, and hey presto, normal function is resumed.

Yes the cc should light up, probably a blown bulb or two.

Thanks Alex, I'll try that tomorrow in daylight.

Are the bulbs in the digital display climate control hard to get to?

BTW, can I just say I absolutely hate the Owner's Manual being it the 2 ring binder thing. It's difficult to read a section when it's in the binder & a PITA to remove each one & put it back. Not an improvement over the old book type manuals IMHO.

Hi,
There is only one bulb in the digital cc display, you will need stereo removal keys to remove the display, and the illumination bulb holder can be seen on the bottom of it, on mine the holder is white in colour twist it to remove it and replace bulb.

Alex, thanks for that. 3 windows working as they should now. OSR seems to be dead from both console & door switch. Are window motors / mechanisms prove to early death in 202s?

Andy, got the cc unit out but found that out of the 1,000 spare bulbs I must have I don't have the correct one to fit into the white thing. I'll get one tomorrow & hopefully that'll be another problem solved.

Just discovered this thing has a working full closure feature on the EIS key which is rather nice & fold down rear seats which give the boot a huge capacity.

Just be careful to put the right wattage bulb in as the additional heat could melt and damage the display unit.

Well, I've replaced the bulb in the climate control unit with 3 new ones & nothing has changed. The CC works beautifully & all the red & orange lights work, just no back lights on the buttons to tell me what they do.

Any ideas anyone?

The climate control light came back to life on it's own recently, days after I replaced the bulb.

Next question is how do I make the CC readout brighter? It's a bugger to see. Is there any facility for turning the light up?

The brightness is controlled using the cluster brightness adjustment.

Doesn't make a difference whether the cluster is lit up like a lighthouse or dim, CC is still too dark & doesn't change.

I wonder if the place I got the bulbs sold me the wrong type or strength.
