'99 E320 (W210) CDI cabin filter ?

Hello,

My brother has an E320 CDI which steams up like hell. The blowers work flat out but the vents put out naff all ventilation.
Anyone know if these have cabin filters ? If so where they are located.

The filter is located and the dashboard on the passenger side.
Remove the under dash panel, then your will see a recatangle box on your right side.
Slide the clips of the cover and the filter is inside.
