'99 W210 A/C fault.

Hello, The other day I noticed that the A/C wouldn't switch on...as in, I pressed the EC button on the climate control console and the red LED on the EC button would not go out.

Checked the book and this seems to be a failsafe which probably points to the gas being at a low pressure.

However, when I switch on the demister for the windscreen tehn the red LED on the EC button goes out and it clears just as quick as before.

Any ideas??

I found this reset procedure on another forum and it worked perfectly...recommended to anyone before they get their system recharged unnecessarily...
