A Class A200 advice

Hi All

I am thinking about buying A200 2006 model the turbos diesel version..
I have found one with 58k and looks good..

any advise what to be aware about.. ? what to look for ? have no idea about this car...

I will apreciate any input on this..

I had one of these (06 reg) for three years and had no mechanical problems with it. However, check the seams around the inside edges of the doors and the tailgate. What looks like a line of thick weld is actually just some type of mastic substance and it is apt to come away and lead to rusting. It happened to mine and Mercedes replaced all the doors and the tailgate free of charge. I was told by the body shop that it would have been a £4000 job had I paid for it myself! The problem was addressed in later models.
Mine was a manual gearbox and pretty quick off the mark - an enjoyable and comfortable drive.
