Not a job for the faint hearted with many thanks to Richard who did most of the complex work and Miro for a particularly useful piece of advice;)

We had the two front seats out, the two front carpets, both front door sills and kick plates, the centre console and the steering wheel off! It looked a real mess at one point. The battery and fuse box were removed also.

We learnt a lot during the install which should simplify future installs of this type.

Just a couple of wires to go and the heated seats should be working too.

To be less alarming to those considering having it done I would say that loosening the passenger seat and working with the steering wheel are adequate for voice control only. The other components relate more to the heated seats you had installed.

For people with UHI from factory the VCS project will take about 3 hours at a casual pace.

Yep we realised this afterwards:crazy: The wiring for the VCS (power and wake up) dont need to go all the way back to the fuse box/behind the comand:rolleyes:
