My A160 doesnt have any SH with it, got lost with previous owner or something. Its a 1998 A160.

1) Is it worth going to an MB service?
2) How much will a service, MB and Indy cost?

Cheers

1. No.
2. Depends what needs doing.

If you have no idea what has been done in the past , i would go for an oil filter , oil change , air filter , fuel filter , plugs at the very least.

No real need to go to even an indy for this , grease monkeys at the local garage did ours. The fuel filter is fiddley as you have to drop the plastic undertrays , and the plugs have to be got at from udnerneath , but no real drama.

Should've just PM'ed out Howard. LOL

I've got no idea whats been done on it to be fair, so whats that little lot going to cost me?

Probably a couple of hundred ish ...

You can do the air filter yourself ;)

Order the bits yourself from the local motor factors and just ask the garage to fit them .

For a car with no known history you should consider...

Oil and filter change
Air filter change
Cabin filter(s) change
Fuel filter change

Brake fluid change
Coolant change
AFT or manual gearbox oil change

Dif oil change (usually not needed though)
Hydraulic steering fluid change (usually not needed though)

Spark plugs change (if petrol engine)

Hope this helps.
