A class w169 ipod input

I don’t know much about Apple products as I don’t really like Apple stuff, but something like this might work I suppose:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dock-to-3-5mm-AUX-In-Audio-Connector-Cable-Lead-Car-iPhone-4-s-iPod-touch-/111065375958

might worth a punt before shelling out on some expensive dock type arrangement.

Ted's Bluetooth suggestion might be worth a look too but I think you said it was ad iPod and not iPhone…I’ve considered that route myself but opted wait and go for full Bluetooth integration someday (if I can bring myself to spend that much money!)

That little thing looks good and does state line level output. :)

I'll order one now , I can always cancel the boostaroo.

My bad guys, I was of course referring to an iphone :/

Just to put this to bed as it were ...

The key is 'line level' output. The headphone jack just doesn't output enough mv to give a meaningful signal to the aux socket.

So I got one of these and it's pretty much solved the problem. The volume is 80/90% of the radio or cd and I can live with that. Certainly not enough to make me shell out £55 ish for the Boostaroo.

Thanks to everyone who contributed.

:thumb: Cheers for that! It'll be extremely helpful when I get to replace my pre-facelift Audio 20 with a facelift one.
