I have a 190 A Class and would like to know where the oil filter is located at.
Is it one of the modern types housed in a black plastic cover which is unscrewed from above and if so does it require any special tools.
I have the vacuum oil suction tool on order.
    Thanks in advance,
    Iain

I believe the A class oil filter is at the bottom, but if it *is* at the top then you need a special tool from MB.

you can drain oil through the dipstick....

if you do change the oil from the sump by unscrewing the nut - make sure u fit a new washer.

    TOOL: Hazet-2169 or 103 589 00 09 00 (mb part number)
