This Koenig special must be fairly unusual and rare:
Mercedes-Benz 500 SL König

Though the power they quote (320 hp with a compressor) can't be right

Body mods are Marmite!

This 7.2l Lorinser must be rare too: 2001 Mercedes SL 7.2 Lorinser | Coys of Kensington

I'd like to see more photos on the Coys site - 2 is in the 'barely adequate' category (the Koenig car at least has 92 photos to showcase every beautiful- ahem- angle)

Auction houses seem to have irreducible minimum as a mantra.......

"The R129 was produced as a two-door roadster with an automated (electro-hydraulic) textile tonneau cover."

No, Brian, it's a hood; a tonneau cover is something entirely different...

Most of the Koenig writeup refers to their works on the earlier 107.

Those headlights on the König surely weren't part of a 1990 conversion.

Strange to have no mention of BHP on the Lorinser one.
