Having read in a previous thread about starting a new thread about good value bottles of wine.....
I thought I'd start one.
My recommendation, based on this weekends research, is the Andrew Pearce label.
While being forced to visit Asda the other evening and finding my previous favourite, Chateau Jaquiem? no longer stocked, I picked up a Mighty Murray red, Mighty Murray white and rose of a similar description.
I have to say that, considering I'm a bordeaux kind of chap, the rose last night was very drinkable, and the white this evening is equally quaffable.
The red, remains as yet unopened, but at 3 for a tenner, I will definately be buying again.
Any more suggestions?
