Don't rise to it Olly .....

Jeeez you boys and girls are lucky to have a mechanic who throws a shindig like that - you all know that don't you...??

I am still concerned about the screw heads being misaligned on Dash's rear number plate.
OCD - Moi - nooooh!

Memo to myself - obtain emergency car cleaning kit and bag for next years event just in case! Do not park in road near PCS with wing mirrors extended in case a white van man takes one out - really sad to see that. Do not have breakfast on day of GTG or dinner either! Reasearch garages with LPG near me so I can buy Olly's S Class!

I dont care if this is a double post elsewhere from me. Cant say it enough.

Fantastic Day. Thank you Olly and team. Great to see folk giving back via Ben.

Hi spots for me. Rolling up at the pub and matching faces to cars and then names to faces via the name tags. Could we have em in felt tip next time? Saves a lot of squinting on this old gits behalf.

Couldn't agree more with all the comments so far, thanks for a lovely afternoon Olly, Pauline and team, great day meeting lots of new and old faces, felt like an old skool reunion with good mates old n new.

What was the total raised in the end?

Hi Olly,

Many thanks for a wonderful day and many thanks to Pauline, Jack, Graham and all the other helpers which made the day run like clockwork. A great credit to you Olly.

It was good meeting up with old friends and meeting new ones and winning Best Car In Show rounded off a perfect day. Many thanks again.

Have checked LPG locations and oh dear! Not too many around me sadly. Olly remind me of the range for a tankful please.

Looks like a cracking day out and lots of Benz porn for everyone !

well done to the PCS boys - i must try and make this next year if car and circumstances permit

Thanks for your comments. Was good to meet you yesterday.
Yes, we recognised that the biro wasn't the best option! Unfortunately, while we ordered much higher quality badges, they didn't turn up in time. They should arrive in time for next year!!

Thanks for your feedback. All feedback is welcome.

Thanks to everyone who came and supported Olly and the Ben charity. Tracey from Ben was overwhelmed at the number of people there, and the amount you were all donating. Thank you all for buying so many raffle tickets, I think we sold almost 1400 tickets…. We had a count up of our fundraising last night (well technically this morning..(and after several beers..)) and the subtotal was incredible! We have a bit more cash to collect so I'm sure Olly will announce the grand total in the next couple of days. In addition we will publish a list of the raffle winners.

There are a few winners who had already left at the time of the draw so they should expect a call soon informing them of their good fortune!

I got round a spoke to a lot of you but inevitably couldn’t get to everyone! Please do let us know your thoughts on anything we could do differently or anything you’d like to see in the future, or indeed anything you didn’t enjoy or weren’t keen on.

I would personally like to give huge credit to Pauline, Olly’s (definitely glamorous) better half who worked like an absolute HERO to get this event together for all of us. Without her efforts the rest of us would have even running around like headless chickens all day! And I think she has found a new vocation in public speaking! Brilliant job on the mic! Thank you Pauline.
And from me, personal thanks to (in no particular order):
Karen, Honor, Tasha, Rich and Murray for giving up their own time to help out.

This morning we started work on planning for the 2015 Benz On the Green event!

Thank you, and best regards to all!

Nick.

What a fantastic day yesterday and it definitely was the best GTG I have been to. A massive thank you Olly, Pauline, the family, the lads at PCS, BEN charity, Vin for the MBClub banners and all the volunteers who helped make it such an amazing day.

It was great to see and catch up with members again, meet new members and put more names to faces and see all those amazing tasty cars! Its events like this that truly makes you appreciate what we have here on the forum. Also the little things that make it special like seeing the cars created by the PCS lads, Cliff's Brabus, Rashman's detailing obsession, Dieselman with his famous paint gauge, Sukh's C63 Black, Peter's amazing SL, Developers gorgeous S212 E63, the member who showed me his lovely CLS Shooting Brake, all the other V8's and even seeing how quick Alps's and Dash's little ones have grown! The list goes on and on...

Now I have to clean the graveyard of flies off the car (Rash.. need your help! lol) and treat my bold head that got royally cooked in the sun! lol.

good to meet you Niks, really like the development you're doing to your w124 estate, and your ideas for creating a custom led lighting array!

Agreed - that's such a great colour.

I've got you in my "interested" file Niks, for a couple of year's time ;).

Great day Olly :) Even better than last year, catching up with old faces and meeting lots of new ones. Always good to see a great collection of cars and especially the various 'projects' on show. Good to see Peter get the Best In Show award, you should have seen his face when it was announced :)

Sorry I had to dash off, I suddenly realised the time and needed to get back to do a BBQ for the visitors due at 5:00 !! Needless to say it wasn't a patch on your BBQ - like everything else about the PCS day - sheer quality :)

Had a fantastic day at the PCS GTG and well done to Olly and the team for organising such a great day out!

Was great to meet lots of forum members and catching with some whom I don't see regularly!

Thanks again, what a fantastic day!

Awesome day, and thank you Olly and his many helpers.

Had a great chat with John (developer) and many others.

I think you should tell all to the forum about your Distronic retro fit Ray - in a new thread.

Many will be interested :thumb:.

I was going do a write up thread but rushed to fit it because of my excitement hehe.

I will make it my summer project lol. I will get some pictures of the installed parts and write some easy to follow instructions.
