That's got to be the car drivers fault.

A fine example of speed greater than talent.

He's an idiot. A lucky idiot, but an idiot all the same.

Yes... If he was not driving in that road the biker was going to have the space needed to stay on road... I assume you had the same thinking ??

He was very lucky indeed, I assume he thought the road was clear and could use all of the road.

He made the right call aiming for the rhs of the car though. Had he tried to get back inside to the left he would likely have been brown bread.

Sorry, Spike, I can see the irony and the gallows humour etc, but I found that a bit sickening. A little warning wouldn't have gone amiss.

Knowing this weirdly makes a palatable difference, although it's very authentic for a low budget production. I was up early, and not with it, tbh, more focused on the girl's 'physique'! Involved as a passenger in an accident a few years ago, and having lost my father in an rta, I get caught out from time to time with clips like this if authentic, which I tend to avoid unless mentally prepared.

Okay, I'm awake now, so move along, nothing to see here!

Check out any of the compilation videos on youtube of motorcycle crashes. 90% are rider error.
Excess speed, low skill level and poor decision making in traffic seem to be the cause of most accidents.

That might have been a Mercedes but for the fact he did not stop and check for scratches and the motorcyclists health.

As for aiming for the right hand side of the on coming vehicle? Nah. Idiot's luck IMHO. Not skill. He had no option. He was heading that way anyway.

I rather think a prosecution reckless is appropriate given the solid white line violations.

It goes back to the New York biker who attacked the Range Rover driver, but it was all the RR fault...

    I don't think they are..........

If the car had been going faster it would have appeared earlier at the bend showing the motorcycle rider the correct line and speed, hence it was the drivers fault.

    :)

I wonder if that's what the Car driver thought, and thus carried on his merry way without stopping? :D
