Nice moment....but you wouldn't have been using a hand held phone to take a picture whilst driving at almost 70mph, would you??

Nah, it's left hand drive and the passenger took the picture!

Nice achievement.

2000rpm at 65mph. I somehow imagined the revs would be a bit lower, or is that the parallax?

Congratulations on the 200K mark

heh heh. Though for full geek effect you should have reset the trip meter at 199800 so it said '200.0'

That`s a really smart (ar**d ) question......plead the 5th Amendment!!

Congratulations by the way.I`ve only got 70,000 to go.
Happy Motoring

So would I, maybe it was in 4th gear, thats my RPM in 5th gear that that speed at the cog IIRC gives 30mph/1000rpm in my car. I'd have thought a 320cdi would have had taller gearing.

Reminds me of this that happened on the way to a MBClub Scottish meet back in May 09: (now on 213k and counting!!)

i think it was in 4th at the time, a bit early in the morning to remember, as been driving for 1 1/2 hours already.

I know the feeling. I'm on the road at 5:15 each Monday morning. I get to work, buy can't quite remember how ;)

Just wait. I used to commute from Bristol to Doncaster. Came out one very cold and wet Monday morning at 5.30 AM to find a flat tyre. Changing the wheel started my week nicely....

Funnily enough that was a W210 E320 cdi as the OP car.
