A new experience

    Went to The Orchard Theatre Dartford last night to see Richard Thompson - the world's best but little known guitarist and songwriter IMHO.

    20 mins into his set,and part way through a song, the house lights went up and a guy walked on stage to announce that the fire alarm had gone off. :doh: Everyone filed out, as you do, and then stood outside whilst we awaited the fire brigade before the alarm could be reset. :bannana:
    Once done we all returned and and said Mr Thompson continued the song from exactly where he had stopped previously.:thumb:

    Has never happened to me before - how about anyone else?

    Sooo cycnical!lol Is not in his nature as far as i am aware, having had the pleasure of listening to his work for more than 40 years.
