"Twisted F***** Seat Belts"

Is it me or Mercedes make crap seat belts.. both my Vito and C Class suffer this and it gets annoying, whereby you unclip the belt go to get out the vehicle and..there's a pool of belt lying in the floorwell, but its twisted up at the pillar and jammed in the glider.. once untwisted its off like a rocket and back into place no problem.. never had this on another car before, do I need new drivers side belt??

Can't say that this is a problem I've had, but perhaps it's something in newer models that Mercedes got wrong?

I'd be surprised if Mercedes actually make the belts, they probably come from Bosch or some generic supplier. I suspect the routing, however, is entirely down to Mercedes..
