What could be better - an ex Metropolitan Police car, so ugly it could be beautiful, looking like an indignant pike, complete with functioning bell and a sixties attitude that says "cross me and I'll give you a good seeing to back at the nick"

Daimler SP250 B

Only drawback the lack of airbags, but the accumulated doughnut layer should help that, and it is a halfway step back to Daimler Benz.

Go on, JBR, flog the pikey wagon and the BMW oil burner and have some fun!

I think he's more Private Pike than river fish, but perhaps he's currently penetrating the travellers in Essex, so more like DC Pikey....

Crikey, JBR a Pikey?

:eek::p
(I'll get my coat...)

He lives in Essex in a caravan, writes in a strange patois and makes his living from crime.

QED.

Ah, so the acquisition of the caravan was all part of an elaborate infiltration ruse... until he went native. Lot of that about, apparently.

Still, I suppose it's up to him where he hangs his helmet.

I have a vision of the bobby driving that flat out, one hand on steering wheel and one hand on hat (notice I didn't use the word helmet) to stop it blowing off.

:D

You have to be a short person to drive one of those, if you're over six foot the top of you head will get pounded by flies....

He can wear a full face helmet.

Reminds me when I took my German mate Stefan for a run down to the westcountry in my Morgan Plus 8 (with taller windscreen). I am exactly six foot and never put the hood up, he is 6ft 5, so all his forehead was above the screen. It was April, so a bit chill, but there were flies around. For about the first 20 minutes all I got was Germanic approbation of this glorious silly car, then silence, then when he got colder and the flies starting hitting harder, a journey long moan about how BMW would have built it better, couldn't we put the hood up, it is so cold, is there no heating (it was on full), vinge, vinge, vinge...

He couldn't wait to get on the train back.

JBR is made of much sterner stuff.

I suppose given the plethora of camp inuendo already littering this thread I couldn't let this one go un-noticed. I'm sure JBR will be tittering away merrily when he spots it! :D

UN To Debate No-Fly Zone Over Basildon

Hold on tight now, girls and boys

As evil British dictator Colonel Gadavey’s minions on the People’s Reactionary Council of Basildon gear up in readiness for an all-out assault on Dale Farm, a ramshackle camp full of ethnic p!keys, the United Nations’ Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination called on the UN Security Council to implement a no-fly zone over Basildon as a matter of the utmost urgency.

“In the last few days, Colonel Gadavey’s propaganda machine has been pumping out explicitly anti-p!key tales of fairground atrocities, turning the population against this victimised ethnic minority,” warned the committee. “The p!key community of the United Kingdom has been discriminated against for centuries. The lowly job opportunities allowed to them are restricted to the running of rickety amusement-park rides and offering disdainful shoppers the choice of a worthless sprig of heather or an unspoken curse.”

“The world cannot, and must not, look away and let this injustice happen,” concluded the report. “Basildon Council’s offensive capability must be neutralised, if necessary by a punitive airstrike against its car pool.”

President Nicolas Sarkozy has already indicated that the French people would be more than happy to commit their fighter-bombers and assault helicopters to supporting Britain’s p!key minority, as long as they promised to stay there and keep the f@ck out of France & get back to Ireland where they came from in the first place !

Enough to make you mad. Bunch of travellers set up an illegal pitch just outside our village without any planning permission on farmland. Our useless council spent a fortune on legal process and then after several years they caved in and allowed them planning permission!

South Cambs District Council - waste of complete space and makes me mad that I, as a bonafide council tax payer have paid for all this!

Yet if anyone who works hard and comes from the local area asks for planning permission on any such land they are denied.

Where is JBR these days? I can't recall him posting recently. Hope we haven't upset him.

Have any MB Club members ever been pulled by JBR?

 Not pulled by the fuzz?
