Anyone know why one dealer wants £255 for a C-Class A Service and the dealer down the road wants £180, both are Mercedes dealers?
And which one to use?

Have you asked them what the service includes? One may have included coolant or some other fluid changes based on the age/mileage of the car etc.

Usually coolant etc. is never covered in "A" servcice.. when I had mine done before Xmas I rang quite a few Stealers and cheapest quote I got was £240 (only items/fluids changed are oil, filter, seal ring, MB windscreen washer pro etc. and just some additional checks carried out. Coolnat will def be an extra...

There is no doubt that the stealers are a bunch of conmen! The A and B services are really nothing more than glorified oil and filter changes...

The £180. sounds about right. Thats what I paid (M.B. Harrogate) last November.

Portzy.

May be he supplied his own oil as stealer charges an "extorionate" rate for their oil... ?

I just paid £249 to George Fraser for an A service and MOT (£42) for my SL60 AMG.
Included a wiper blade for £16 and oil for £46.

I paid the same as Webby from Monarch Motors Tamworth for C220
