I know the design isnt very efficient but I did use 2" internal diamter pipe. I can make a "spiral" style equal length header but all it would really do is smooth out my lower rpm spool up and make it spool faster. Anyway back when I built this I had never even done a header before :D Now I have built 5 of the same ones and a couple equal length headers for friends hondas and nissans :)

Great post. People should be doing these things more often!

i mean :) crysis is everywhere :) i'm thinking about getin car something to drive more cheap, like bmw 320d :) with average someting like 6l/100km
some people ar making car to eat more fuel like 20l/100km :) spending several thousands for ?.. making youtube video ? :)

Doing a quick google conversion, my car before the turbo averaged 11l/100km(21mpg), now it is 9l/100km(26mpg).....Turbos improve fuel economy on stock engines, its not like im full throttling every where :D If I floor it, I can see the gas gauge move once I hit about 120mph/200kmh :D

Sorry for dragging an old thread up but as I'm in a real debacle with regards to my present project, I find this a great read! I am currently going through the decision process whether to keep going with my project or cease it & get another car & am wondering whether OP can give an update? Incidentally, I was going down very much the same path (had even purchased the GT3540R) so find it very interesting a read indeed!

Cheers,
Tim.
