A12 at Kelvedon

Hello all

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the police van parked up on a bridge just passed the kelvedon junction is for my first thought is that it is an ANPR van cos it dos'nt have the usal markings of a speed camera van and also on the essex police web site it is not listed as a mobile location site.....any thoughts????

A police van/car parked up on a bridge has the desired effect of making drivers slow down even if they have no camera equipment on board.

Just officers having a break and slowing traffic at the same time!

My only query was that it had the usal side window but it was not the usual essex yellow looking one but a police one that why I thought it was anpr when I looked in the web last night of the locations for that day there was no mention of kelvedon I'm just interested to se if anyone has erverbeen done there

Which bridge do you mean ? This one IS a mobile camera site.

To be honest I cant remember but as I mentioned before it was more like a police van with a side window a bit like the essex camera vans
