Would one of the Londinium brethren care to have a first look at this for me please?

Nice Matt, very nice.
It looks very nice. Probably just me but the price is suspiciously reasonable.
Or are they being realistic? Only a few dealers, with reputations for the best stock, can charge the top prices.
Most people browsing Autotrader just see a rather expensive 18 year old car
Lovely car. Great price.
Am I being pesimistic, or has anyone noticed it seems to be dowsed in silicone inside and the headlight wiper arms are off - if an owner cares that little not to sort the wiper motors I'd be inclined to think it might be a shed with good photos and patchy history ?
Hopefully just realistic but even most private ads ask for more than this one. Does not mean they get it of course. There is a non specialist near me with a similar car but higher spec for £13995. They have had it for months.
Check it very carefully. Perhaps pay someone with specialist knowledge to check it first. It does look a great buy if everything stacks up.
There is much truth in what you are all saying. I will view this with eyes wide open. The leather does seem rather shiny to say the least but that's easy enough to fix. I will be very impressed if it really has ASR (traction as the ad calls it).
The spec does seem very comprehensive so the one you refer to GP801 must be exceedingly well kitted (the Mr Kipling's of 124's perhaps!).
Thanks for all the input so far.
I should add if any of you know of a good one please post link into this thread please.
Hopefully the link is here. Looks very nice but expensive. Stock Item : Mercedes-Benz E320 CE Sportline Cabriolet
How about this one in Bristol? LINK
or this one in Abingdon. LINK
I realise neither of them have mileage on them so can assume 150K+ easily but we are not after a garage queen. She would be used daily to drive about 3 miles each way so the mileage will not rack up. If things need doing on an ad hoc basis thats not an issue.
GP801 - that link you posted is nice but optimistic pricing I feel.
I agree the pricing is optimistic. Thats probably why they have had it for ages. Those in your links look fine. Personally I would seek out one with aircon. Much more desirable and not usually more expensive. If you dont do many miles the 320 is way smoother to drive, more powerful and fuel consumption difference is negligible. I would seriously spend the money with an Indie to get any potential purchase checked out. There are some very expensive potential problems for the unwary.
A big "Thank you" to Terry (alf230) for having a butcher's at the first link I posted. In its current state its a no go (or rather roof no go!).
Will post another linky in a moment
the search continues for A124 (see what I did there?)
Anyone near Bedford? No hurry as off on holiday for a few weeks tomorrow.
This looks quite nice and the reg is VERY similar to my coupe so that would look nice and twee on the drive
Get a 320 as you'll regret every day if not
You may well be right and I am in now hurry to buy however I will buy on condition at the end of the day (though not prepared to pay for a garage queen)
