Buying this car of my friend and it's central locking doesn't work, any1 know how I could try fix this problem or have a link that could help me find a solution tony problem please

It'll be the central locking pump in the boot.

What usually happens is that the pipe for the rear screen wash fractures and floods the boot space where the pump lives.

The pump sits in a sponge case to cushion it , and this absorbs the water and stays wet for ever , killing the pump.

Lift the boot floor and on the top left behind the spare wheel , you will see the pump , see if the sponge surround is wet.

Check the fuse first though , because if it's shorted , it might just blow that.
