A180d (2015) tinny rattle when accelerating

Hello!

A180d auto with 68000 miles, nothing a really loud tiny rattle when accelerating in 1st 2nd and 3rd,

Any ideas? It’s just been serviced by merc and they didn’t notice it but it’s so loud!

How easy a fix is this? I’m a complete idiot with cars! Tend to just pay merc to sort it!

Problem is you would really need to get the car up on a ramp to have a good look underneath and determine exactly where the noise is coming from, not easy is you don't have access to underneath.

Without further information/ sound track impossible to say. Anything would be a guess otherwise-- could it be a dodgy exhaust diverter valve- if there is one fitted in your car ?

Could be noisy injectors,try a bottle of injector cleaner in the tank.
