It requires a brain surgery on the headlights, turn indicator sockets, to be precise, as Mercedes have wired them wrong way round (deliberately I suspect - too obvious to be a mistake), so the plus is on the bulb's body and the ground/negative is at the bottom pole contact.

Once that's done, it's pretty easy: DRL controller; reconfigure BAU15S holders into BAY15D, get a pair of two-tone bulbs, job done.

The nice thing about this setup is - I can unplug my modified sockets with LED two-tone bulbs, and plug in the standard ones with filament bulbs, changing back to the factory setup in about 2 minutes. It would take longer to fix waterproof plug terminators, to where the DRL signal comes in.
