I am really interested to hear more about these. My wife has just been given a company car and guess what is on the list! It has to be a 4 door and 'not a sports car' so I guess if we lose the body kit we should get away with it. The 4x4 will also be useful for the winter months, and with the company paying for maintenance including winter tyres I think we are a goer. Although, at least on the Swiss configuration the options are pricey - 600chf for DAB on top of the COMAND? There is no point getting another big car, besides the garage will be quite tight with the BMW and my cleaning stuff anyway so a big car will not fit. I take it the sports exhaust is essential is it switchable? S

I'm not sure you need COMMAND in these. I didn't spec it despite having it in my last car and don't miss it. The body kit is extra so you save not having it. Didn't spec on mine as I think it makes it look a bit too boy racer. The exhaust is louder in Sport mode than in Comfort. I found the sports exhaust too loud but lots of owners say it's essential. Depends on the type of driving you are going to do I suppose. 5000 miles in with mine and I'm loving it despite it rattling like a can of washers!

Root cause I think is cost saving. Both front doors rattle like there is something loose inside on rough roads and the arm rest creaks away if you put your arm on it. Going back to the garage tomorrow so once the customary 3 visits it should be ok (one to diagnose, then to fix, finally do it right). There is a known fix on the doors and the. Dealer will fit dynamatt to quieten it down.
