A45 / CLA45 Weistec / ARMA mods / Alternatives

Hi all, I have an amateur understanding of the inner working of cars at best. However I'd love to look at all the options to have some fun adding stuff under the hood. Just wanted opinions of this Weistec gear, and suggestions of any other parts.

Blow off valve, sounds epic! Don't know if it eliminated the pops, would this really help to reduce strain on the engine or is it market gabba gabba?

Quite a nice looking component definitely "looks" better than stock but is it? Sceptical about the chart but some extra low end torque would feel great!

Intake, looks much nicer, am I going to get a mass uproar of protest for these? Everyone tells me a different story!

A final question, thoughts on "Armytrix"? They do an exhaust i'm finding irresistible but I can't find any info or opinions on their stuff. Cheers all!

You could do a lot worse than to speak with Acid at MSL Performance, especially about the Weistec mods, as he's done quite a few now and is also a UK distributor for them.

I think you'll find that their figures are pretty accurate as well...

As for the wheels, I won't comment, but have a look HERE for one owners less than complimentary report about your choice of supplier.

I did find the MSL tech through the browser and it's good to hear a recommendation for it straight away (or bad, depending on how ya look at it!)

You mention wheels and I linked an ARMA intake - but I was looking at the Projex wheels so you're some'kinda psychic! That thread seems to start off on a positive outlook on Projex but there is a lot of reading - does it swiftly take a dark course of discussion at some point?

Any more thoughts on:

- ARMA intake
- Blow off valve in an A45 (and if it removed pop)

I've been reading into warranties regarding car mods and although I'm sure many of you will say it voids it, I'm reading even with performance mods it depends on what is done to it. An ECU / chip would apparently void it as it pushes the engine much further - but things like intakes (and im hoping an uprated downpipe and blow off valve) seem to be "ok"? Maybe if you talk to the merc garage before it all / order the parts and pay the merc garage to fit them? I don't know, there should be more information on this stuff!
