Well... there I was in the daily commute to work this morning. I was sat in stationary traffic on a mainish road. As I was approaching a junction with two side roads I leave a gap in the traffic (as I usually do in jams) so that other motorists can enter and exit the side roads off of the main road that I am on.
A Girl driver in a VW Polo sees me stopped and takes that to mean the whole road is clear so she darts out across the front of my car and *BANG* hits a Volvo 440 travelling in the opposite direction to me. He fishtails out of control and hits my stationary car and continues on and smacks a Rover 200 behind me too. Aaarrrrggghh!!!
So in a matter of seconds and one driver's lack of basic observation 4 cars are significantly damaged. Grrr

Luckily my car is drivable, I feel sorry for the Volvo driver his car was a complete mess and the front of the Rover opened up like a tin of beans attacked by a tin-opener. My insurance company seems cool about the whole thing but I'll reserve judgement until the whole affair is done and dusted, I have to pay a £150 excess but my insurance claims they'll pay that back once they get money from the driver to blame, I wonder how soon they'll change their tune.
Moral of the story? Don't give an inch on the roads and courtessy doesn't pay, better to drive like an a$$hole
