Hi,

Just thought i'd share my experience with you guys..

Took my 2004 E320 CDi for a custom remap at AATECHNIK today, just to see how it compares to my kleeman kd box which I had to take out last night.

First of all the car feels alot smoother than it did when I had the kleeman box installed and managed to get 2.5mpg more than I did when I had my kleeman box and even when it was stock. Power wise it's smiliar to the kleeman box but feels better to drive and more alive, added a safe 40bhp and 80nm of torque, could of easily got more but Gee at AATECHNIK recommended to play it safe!

The car feels faster and more alive it's a dream to drive. Mid range power is fab from 40 to 70mph pulls you back to your seat HARD!

All in all a top notch remap and thats after only 50miles of driving should get better in time as the car will start to adapt to the map more.. :D

Also the price I paid was very reasonable considering the end result:cool:

I would recommend AATECHNIK if any of you guys wanted a remap.:thumb:

Thanks.

It's an actual measured mpg, trip computer is not very accurate sometimes. Also considering I was not driving carefully it's really good and also the map hasnt even settled yet, car is still adapting.

Everybody knows if you remap a car good it will improve the feul economy specially on a diesel car!

He was banned because he did not seek permission before posting a thread of a commercial nature - infact it was his first (and final) post.

Appreciate the feedback.

I thought he was e-mailing the admins, mods and nobody was replying but anyway I don't really know much about what happend so lets keep to the topic, thanks. :)

aatechnik ecu remap

Well my car is booked in for 15:00 tomorrow... :)

Hi - how was the aatechnik experience?
I have a 2007 CLS 500 (5.5 litre 388bhp) and I am considering an ecu remap.
I already have a SprintBooster fitted which helped slightly, but I still find the accelerator responsiveness sluggish and I understand that an ECU remap will do the trick in thsi department.
Any comments?

Never made it, my meetings ran over and I ended up having to cancel.

Then went to Cyprus for a couple of weeks...

I'll revisit this at some point.

Sorry I take everything back from my initial post!!

I had to flush the ECU - sadly my car did not like the AAT remap!!

It did not seem to like going into fifth gear and in first gear off the lights it changes gear at 3,400rpm instead of going all the way so I took it back to gee and rested the ecu back to standard and then went to mercedes and done an ecu update - it was fine after that. It was a waste of time and fuel for me to be honest..

About 3 weeks ago I had the car remaped properly with West-tuning they are my usual remap dealer, I have done about 4 cars with him now. He re-maped it for me and now the car is runing perfectly again! Set me back £450 notes with 15% discount:( but money well spent as I don't mind paying for quality! As the saying goes - 'You pay for what you get' and I must agree with that according to my experience!

Standard - As usual he first tested the car on the rolling road, standard it was 218.9hp and about 350ibft.

After map - 4 and a half hours later put it back on the rolling road 265.0hp and 405ibft torque
