Good morning,

I wonder if someone could possibly give a hint what I could do about my problem. For the last 2 days the ABS light in the dashboard is on. First I thought might just be one of those things but it does not disappear again. As far as I can tell the car is breaking fine. Tried to find a fuse to check but I don't think there is one or at least I could not find one.

What does the light mean? Is it dangerous to drive? Is this something I could have a go at and how do you narrow down where the fault is or will I need to take it to a garage?

Many thanks for any suggestions

Christoph

Could be an ABS wheel sensor, get it plugged into Star by the dealers or a MB Indi, should indicate what's causing it. You have no ABS braking if the warning light is on so I would drive carefully! Get it seen to ASAP would be my advice

I had this on an r129, it was wiring to a wheel sensor.

Get the codes read.
