Drat! It seems that I have been stitched-up and have bought a pup!
Bought my W202 C200 in February 2007.
Well it has just failed its MOT because the ABS light did not come on when starting the car; further investigation revealed that there was no bulb in the holder.....
I now know why - when you put a bulb in it stays on, even when the ignition key is NOT in!
As I do not have the money for an open-ended search in my wiring; it has to be DIY.
OK - so I get a Halfords book and check the wiring diagram for the dash. It seems to indicate that the "blue/white" wire is the fellow that controls the light - so to prove this I cut the wire... ITS STILL ON! As there are about another 20+ wires to that plug I am NOT going to do that to all!
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the dash - or can anyone tell me the wire colour?
