ABS Problem

Hi. New member, I have 1993 E200 62k. It has been in storage for about 12 months, came to get her out last weekend. Battery was dead so had to jump start her, runs perfectly but ABS light is now on. Any ideas. Thanks.

hi had the same problem with my 190e few years back there is an overload unit which on the 190e is behind the battery and a little towards the centrer of the bulkhead difficult to see but this has a hinged perspex cover on the top under there is a 10a fuse which blows replace fuse and it should be ok. strangely the reason on am on here is that my abs is back on and this time it is not the fuse might be the unit itself apparently Mercedes have sold over 400 of these units this year as they use them on many models new part no which i got from MB Belfast this morn 201 540 3745 hope this helps benzbuddy22

Thanks for reply. I have checked that fuse but it is ok mine is a 30amp fuse but all looks original. I was hoping it was just the fuse as every thing was working perfectly before I put her in storage.

Maybe rust on the abs rings where the wheel sensors are due to lack of use ?
