Abs/speedo

Have only glanced thru posts as yet and not started pulling bits apart on the car.

I have a non working speedo and an illuminated abs light. Could they be connected in some way? I have bashed the speedo housing just in case it had the sticky needle but no difference.

Has anybody had similar problems to the one I describe?

Your car will have a speed sensor on each wheel to tell the ABS system when one or more wheels have locked up when braking. I think one of the sensors is also used to generate a signal for your speedo so it looks like this sensor is either faulty or has a bad connection. Unfortunately I'm unable to tell you which one of the four works your speedo but hopefully someone else will chime in with that info.

I'll be checking all connections this morning. But it will be handy if anybody knows which sensor doubles up as the speedo sender.

Checked all connections and everything appears OK.
Anymore suggestions? I have had the ecu read and there are no codes showing.

Found to be duff OVP relay
